Thankfulness & some every day treasures

"Count your blessings" seems to be an overused term...but there's so much Truth in it. My mama always says I am so blessed just because of how appreciative I am. I know I'm usually such a thankful person....which is why when I have negative nights like last night, nights when my focus is on things that are wrong in my life....it's weird for me. I don't like the way I feel at all during those times.

but those times pass! and then I always feel so so so thankful when God gets me out of all my slumps!!! I absolutely believe that there is no room for blessings without thankfulness. God can't move when we are ungrateful.

I love that I was thinking about this --- about being thankful for all the blessings I do have and focusing on all the good around me....and then I read Robin's blogs. And her blogs today were all about gratitude and thankfulness. I LOVE IT! God is using us to sharpen each other. These posts are just what I needed to read....

If I had to write down a list of all the things I have to be thankful for --- I could start now and I would still be writing when Jesus returned. I am truly a blessed girl and I know that. I really do know that! It actually boggles me how blessed I am. I am so so appreciative to God for all He's done in my life. Thankfulness doesn't even express what I feel for all He's done and continues to do! God always blesses over and above what we can imagine doesn't He?

So all that being said - I wanted to post about some of the things I am most thankful for. One of my most special blessings is hubby Brandon... my best friend and completer. He is proof to me that God is good and that God loves me and wants to bless me!! I see Brandon as a reward to me from God. I'm glad I waited 18 years for him he was absolutely worth every minute I had to wait and dream about him! Marriage is tough and we're constantly sharpening each other and stretching each other hehe but it's beautiful and the most wonderful positive relationship. I love how much we just like each other. We really just enjoy each other. We can't look at each other without smiling which just cracks me up that we're still like that haha. He encourages me and always knows when I need some ice cream....here we are with our ice cream treat from last night! :)

and this one is just as embarassing! Man I'm being vulnerable putting this up. MAN what was I thinking going out like that. My hair, that oufit...AHHHH and yes I always choose ice cream that a 7 year old would choose! Cotton Candy & Sprinkles YUMMM! :) I am very much like a child in many ways :)

What a special treat - Raymond rarely has sugar so when he gets it - WOW what a treat! He loved it!

Raymond is the next most special gift. What a miracle he has been!!!! :) In so many ways! I enjoy every minute with him and he is absolutely my sunshine Ray-mond :) He makes my day. Now I can't imagine life without him either.

This is one of my favorite scenes I see on a daily basis. Walking my 2 babies. I LOVE the sunshine and being outside and I love that my babies love being outside too! Does anybody else like the outside like us? Does anybody else go on walks together daily?

and another thing I love is pajamas. I mean I REALLY love bedtime. I love cuddling with Raymond before sleepy time and then snuggling with hubby. My mom got me 3 new pairs of pajamas when we went to New Jersey - I LOVE them! This one is one of my favorites - I wish I could take a picture of the whole outfit - I just LOVE polka dots, white, black and red together! Yes!
